We’re not huge TV watchers. In fact, we’ve considered (multiple times) getting rid of the idiot box altogether. However, when we do watch, it’s mostly a toss up between the food channel and the travel channel. One of the shows that I like very much is Everyday Italian with Giada De Laurentiis. Her recipe’s are simple and easy to follow and her show is lively!

A couple of days ago, I got an email from Crate and Barrel, that she’s going to be in their store for the book-signing of her latest book: Everyday Pasta! I was so excited and needless to say I was there! There was a really long line and I had to wait for almost 45 minutes to get my copy signed! When it was my turn, I had a chance to chat with her for a bit about her show and her cooking. She came across as a very friendly, warm and smiling person.

As I was leaving, she mentioned to me: “I’m glad you came”. I am glad I went!
